Are you working on your fellow application? This is a prestigious opportunity for recognition from our association! All of our Fellows are considered leaders in the field. This designation marks them as an expert in work related to diagnosis and knowledge development.
What Are Fellows?
The community of NANDA-I Fellows represents nursing leaders with standardized nursing language expertise in the areas of education, administration, clinical practice, informatics and research. NANDA-I Fellows contribute their time and energy to the organization in a variety of areas, in order to move forward the goal to provide evidence-based clinical decision support to nurses worldwide.
How to Apply to be a Fellow
The NANDA-I Board of Directors invites individuals who have been active NANDA-I members for a minimum of ten years to apply to become a Fellow of the Association. Fellows represent all areas of practice, including nursing administration, clinical practice, education, informatics, and research.
Considerations of the applications focus on the individual’s contribution to advancing the mission and vision of NANDA-I, participation in the Association, and advancement and/or dissemination of the work of the Association.
Applications for NANDA-I Fellows opened August 12, 2024, and will close December 31, 2024.
Application Process
This process is involved, requiring letters of recommendation from other NANDA-I Fellows and specific information from the candidates. Be sure to start working on this early so that you have time to compile all the required information! Fellows are introduced at the 2025 conference, with a reception in their honor.
