A brief summary of the
Nursing Diagnosis & Knowledge Development: New Beginnings
Boston College Connell School of Nursing
Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts (USA)
June 13-15, 2018
Many participants stayed in the Boston College Dormitories and found the experience to be one of community. You could find participants in Lynda Carpenito’s room in the morning, sharing coffee (thank you, Lynda!) and talking about the topics discussed the previous day. In the evening, people stopped through a variety of other apartments – sharing wine, food, and great conversation about the conference and future of NANDA-I and the Gordon Program and BC. We highly encourage participants to consider the dormitory for the next conference to better take advantage of the sense of community established by those who stayed there!
Keep an eye on this site for abstracts of papers and posters presented at the conference, which will be available by the end of July, 2018. Once conference evaluations and debriefing have occurred, we will also provide an overview of the learning that occurred during this first joint conference of NANDA International and The Marjory Gordon, Ph.D., R.N., FAAN Program for Clinical Reasoning and Knowledge Development at Boston College.
Our next joint conference will be in June of 2020, with final dates coming soon!
With best wishes,
T. Heather Herdman, PhD, RN, FNI
