June 1, 2025 — Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, USA & Lima, Peru — NANDA International, Inc. (NANDA-I), the global leader in standardized nursing diagnostic terminology, is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with *Asociación Civil Educativa Oscar Trelles Montes – CICAT-SALUD*, a leading nonprofit educational institution based in Lima, Peru. The agreement, effective June 1, 2025, establishes CICAT-SALUD as the exclusive representative of NANDA-I educational offerings and content in Peru.
This collaboration is a milestone in advancing evidence-based nursing practice and education throughout Latin America. Under the agreement, CICAT-SALUD will serve as the sole authorized partner to distribute NANDA-I’s copyrighted educational content and to organize and present NANDA-I-approved courses and events across Peru.

There are many individuals and companies that try to profit from the use of our name or trademark, but this partnership ensures the approval of all content being provided by NANDA-I Board members, guaranteeing a quality educational experience.”
CICAT-SALUD, recognized by the Peruvian Ministry of Education, has a long-standing reputation for providing health education at national and international levels. Through this partnership, CICAT-SALUD will be responsible for the implementation, marketing, and delivery of NANDA-I programs, as well as maintaining high standards for intellectual property protection.
Highlights of the agreement include:
- Exclusive authorization for CICAT-SALUD to deliver NANDA-I Offerings in Peru.
- A commitment to program quality and speaker approval through joint oversight by NANDA-I leadership.
- A 20% discount for members of NANDA-I Network: Peru on all educational offerings.
- A shared effort to prevent unauthorized use of NANDA-I’s intellectual property and trademarks.
