The International Nursing Knowledge Association (INKA, formerly NANDA International) is pleased to announce that abstract submissions are now open for the 2027 International Nursing Knowledge Conference, taking place 9–11 June 2027 in Pamplona, Spain.
Bringing together nursing professionals from around the world, the conference will provide a unique opportunity to share research, innovations, educational initiatives, implementation projects, and policy developments that are shaping the future of nursing knowledge.
The 2027 conference theme, “Expanding, Bridging, and Unifying Knowledge: A New Era for the Global Voice of Nurses,” highlights the importance of connecting nursing practice, education, research, informatics, and policy to strengthen the profession’s collective impact on healthcare worldwide.
Whether you’re conducting groundbreaking research, implementing evidence-based practice changes, advancing nursing education, leveraging health informatics, or influencing policy development, we invite you to share your work with an international audience of nursing leaders and scholars.
Submission Categories
Abstracts are welcomed in five areas:
- Nursing Education and Curriculum Development
- Practice, Administration, and Care Delivery
- Nursing Science Development
- Documentation, Nursing Data, and Informatics
- Policy
Important Submission Information
- Submission deadline: September 30, 2026
- Maximum abstract length: 250 words
- Presentation format options: Poster or Oral Presentation
- All submissions and presentations must be in English
- Individuals may serve as lead author on a maximum of two submissions
- Lead authors / presenters must be a member of INKA
Please note that the lead author or presenter of accepted abstracts must be an INKA member and is expected to attend the conference in Pamplona, Spain. The presenting author will receive a certificate of presentation.
The International Nursing Knowledge Conference serves as a global forum for advancing nursing knowledge, strengthening clinical reasoning, and fostering collaboration across disciplines and healthcare settings.
