We are pleased to announce two new NANDA-I Fellows: Dr. Águeda Cavalcante (Brasil) and Dr. Silvia Caldeira (Portugal). Both scholars have demonstrated outstanding commitment to advancing standardized nursing language through their research, education, and service.
Dr. Caldeira recently completed her term as Director of Research, while Dr. Cavalcante continues her valuable work on the Diagnosis Development Committee. Their contributions to NANDA-I include significant research on nursing diagnoses and a commitment to educating future nurses.
NANDA-I Fellows are nursing leaders who demonstrate expertise in standardized nursing language across education, administration, clinical practice, informatics, and research. Since establishing our first class of Fellows in 2014, these professionals have helped advance our mission to provide evidence-based clinical decision support to nurses worldwide.
Fellowship is offered to active NANDA-I members with at least ten years of membership who have made significant contributions to our mission and vision. Fellows are selected based on their participation in the Association and their role in advancing and disseminating NANDA-I’s work.
We thank both Dr. Cavalcante and Dr. Caldeira for their ongoing commitment to NANDA-I and congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition!
