Conference Highlights

This year’s theme encapsulates the nursing community’s commitment to evolving and adapting to a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. Esteemed keynote speakers, including Dr. Danny Willis and Dr. Jane Flanagan, will discuss pressing topics such as integrating nursing knowledge within interdisciplinary care and how this can further our profession’s holistic focus.

The main objectives of the conference are:

  1. Promote international collaboration and synergy in research and implementation projects using NANDA-I nursing diagnoses at regional and national levels.
  2. Discuss the evidence-based implications for standardized nursing language in transforming education, practice, knowledge, and policy development for nurses.
  3. Listen to clinicians’ experiences to understand the relationship between nursing language in theory and nursing language in practice.
  4. Explore using data to achieve nursing excellence in education, practice, knowledge, and policy.
  5. Develop opportunities and challenges for incorporating standardized nursing language into big data platforms.
  6. Describe current systems for data collection, storage, retrieval, and its use in healthcare settings.

Abstract Submission Status

Abstract submissions for the conference are being intensively reviewed by an international committee led by Dr. Sílvia Caldeira. This rigorous evaluation ensures the highest quality and relevance for all accepted presentations. Scheduled to be completed by the end of January 2025, the results will be incorporated into the much-anticipated conference agenda, adding diverse insights and groundbreaking research for attendees to explore.
