Memberships

Membership in the International Nursing Knowledge Association, INKA (formerly NANDA® International, NANDA-I) connects you to a global professional community advancing nursing knowledge through diagnosis-centered clinical reasoning, classification development, research, education, and digital implementation.

INKA’s work supports the structured nursing knowledge that underpins the nursing process, helping nurses and organizations strengthen assessment, diagnostic accuracy, care planning, and outcomes evaluation across diverse healthcare systems worldwide. Importantly, this structure supports research that demonstrates the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes and helps with the development and revision of health care policy at local, national, and global levels.

Members contribute to the ongoing development of nursing classifications and clinical standards while gaining access to professional resources, international collaboration, and opportunities for leadership within the association.

Nursing membership fees are based on a three-tier structure aligned with the World Bank’s classification of national income levels. Final pricing is determined during checkout based on country category.

Professional Membership

every 2 years**

For professional nurses (e.g., a registered nurse) who have completed either an Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree, or higher, in nursing.

*Membership fees are based on a three-tier structure based on World Bank’s classification of countries by income. Continue through to check out to receive final pricing based on your country’s economic status.

**Refund Policy:  Because a certificate of membership as well as digital items can be downloaded after purchase, refunds are not available for any Memberships.  A member can cancel their membership through their member portal but no refund will be available for the remaining time of membership.

Refund, Transfer, and Sharing Policy

INKA membership provides immediate access to member-only digital resources and downloadable materials. Because of this, membership purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Individual memberships (Regular, Student, Retired, Associate, etc.) are intended for one person only and cannot be shared, transferred, or reassigned to another individual.
  • Institutional memberships are designed specifically for organizations and groups, and access is provided according to the institutional membership structure.

Members may cancel membership at any time through the Member Portal, but no refund or transfer is available for any portion of the remaining membership term.
