Brief Description: Dr. Herdman will provide an update on major changes to NANDA-I’s multiaxial structure, including the focus of the diagnosis (axis 1), a reduction in the number of judgment tems (axis 2), and new axes. Diagnoses axes are dimensions of the human response reflected in the nursing diagnosis. The rationale for potential diagnostic axes changes and examples will be presented. Q & A will be part of the session.
