Whether you want to lead, teach, collaborate, or simply learn more, there are different ways to engage with NANDA 360 and help advance nursing knowledge around the world.

NANDA 360 is the International Nursing Knowledge Association’s (INKA, formerly NANDA International) integrated nursing knowledge base, bringing together an expanded classification and clinical reasoning framework across the nursing process.
Education and implementation support sit within the Institute of Nursing Knowledge, INKA’s educational arm. The Institute brings together courses, programs, and learning experiences designed to strengthen nursing knowledge and clinical reasoning across practice, education, research, and digital health.
Within that broader structure, the NANDA 360 Institute is a dedicated program focused on helping participants understand, apply, and operationalize NANDA 360 in education, clinical practice, research, and digital health systems.
Be part of what comes next.
NANDA 360 is being developed to connect nursing knowledge across assessment, diagnosis, patient goals and outcomes, and nursing actions through an integrated nursing knowledge base.

The inaugural NANDA 360 Institute brought together nursing leaders from around the world for learning, discussion, exchange, and exploration of how NANDA 360 can strengthen nursing education, clinical practice, research, policy, informatics, and the visibility of nursing’s contribution to health outcomes.
One take away from the Institute: “The need for nursing to be more visible and that NANDA (360) is one important umbrella perspective of how to make that happen….I believe that the collaboration with other organizations and other nursing groups can help actualize that.”
“This event has been exceptional because it has given me important insights that will help improve what we are already doing in this region.
In September, we will begin implementing a management software system that includes NANDA diagnoses, and we expect to begin piloting NANDA 360 around March 2027.
What I am taking away from this meeting is the level of analytical depth that NANDA 360 has been able to achieve. This will greatly facilitate the work of our nurses.”

“What excites me most about NANDA 360 is the way it brings all of the terminology together. It integrates assessment, diagnosis, goals, and nursing actions. This helps address the problem of fragmentation across systems.
It strengthens clinical reasoning and reinforces the value of nurses’ work.”
