The NANDA Foundation Gerard Stone Award for Nursing Informatics
We are delighted to announce the opening of a new Grant Award starting in late in 2021 and for our 2022 call. The NANDA Foundation Gerard Stone Award for Nursing Informatics has been opened in memory of the late Gerard Stone. Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, and starting his career with Lloyds in London and CIBC in Toronto in informatics Stone was latterly Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Technology Division at Bank of America. In 2016 and 2017 he was named in the Top 100 executives worldwide by the Financial Times for promoting diversity and inclusion. He died aged 51 after a long journey with cancer in October 2020.
