NANDA-I STRATEGIC PLAN 2021-2023

The NANDA-I board of Directors is working to fulfill the 2021-2023 Strategic Plan that will be presented during our next Conference, in June of 2021.
The Strategic Plan has been developed to address our Mission and Vision, and focuses on four main lines: resources, processes, customers, and financial issues. It is oriented to members, clinical institutions, and universities.
The objective of the Strategic Plan is to consolidate NANDA-I’s position as a leading force in the research, development, refinement, dissemination, and clinical use of diagnostic terminologies, while increasing the number of members in the Association.
It is hard to achieve anything of significance without a good plan. And it’s hard too, to achieve anything without a strategy. Strategy can be defined in many ways, but generally involves setting objectives, actions required to meet the objectives, and the necessary resources to execute the objectives.
At these times in which we are living, strategy matters perhaps more than ever. It is the tool for shaping the future and creating momentum, as opposed to simply reacting to the environment. Without a strategy, an organization can drift away from its vision and become irrelevant or even unsustainable.
The NANDA-I Education, Research, Informatics, and Diagnostic Development Task Forces, together with the Executive Committee, are developing Action Plans that will lead to the execution of the 2021-2022NANDA-I Strategic Plan.
We will be informing our members about achievements and challenges, and new positions and calls for collaboration with the Association will be open. Don’t miss the opportunity to become a more active part of NANDA-I. Come join us!
Best regards,
