Saying Goodbye to Ann (Noon) McCourt Clinton

ANN (NOON) MCCOURT CLINTON – Ann (Noon) McCourt, 92, of North Easton, Mass., passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024. Ann dedicated her life to her family, friends, faith, and her nursing career. Ann graduated from Simmons College and then Boston University. 

Ann achieved much success in her rehabilitation nursing career. She worked at various hospitals in Massachusetts and taught at Boston University and Stonehill College. Her career took her to teach in Germany and Japan. She was active in professional organizations throughout her career, including the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (now NANDA International), the American Nurses Association, and the Rehabilitation Nurses Association. After retiring from full-time work, she served as editor of The Specialty Practice of Rehabilitation Nursing, A Core Curriculum. 

Ann is survived by her daughters, Mary Ellen “Mame” McCourt of Wakefield, Mass., Jackie McCourt of Dover, N.H., her son Sean McCourt, her daughter-in-law Nancy Rini, and her grandson, Daniel McCourt of Killingworth, Conn. Ann is predeceased by her husband, her parents, Carleton Noon and Ellen Curtis Noon, her son Joseph A. McCourt, and her sister, Arlene M. Noon. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, July 12, 2024, at St. John the Evangelist Church, Lancaster, MA.
