The NANDA Foundation awards grants between $1,500 and $3,000 for projects related to critical thinking, refining existing nursing diagnoses, nursing science research related to standardized nursing language, and the development of new nursing knowledge and diagnoses. By funding groundbreaking research, the Foundation aims to positively impact nursing practice, education, and patient care worldwide.

*The required elements for submission include a detailed project description, literature review, problem statement, study framework, research questions, methodology, ethics approval, research impact, references, dissemination plan, project timeline, and budget. Remember, applications that do not meet these guidelines will not be reviewed.
Members of the NANDA Foundation Board of Directors and the NANDA-I Research Committee will review each grant application, and grant awards will be announced and presented at the 2023 NANDA-I conference in Boston (June 14-16, 2023). Successful applicants will have the opportunity to present their research findings at a future NANDA-I Conference.
